This competitive opportunity offers highly qualified young graduates a pathway to start their professional career within the UN Secretariat at the P-1 or P-2 entry level.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"670\" data-end=\"909\">Successful candidates will be placed on a roster for up to three years and may be recruited into communications roles within various UN duty stations, including Addis Ababa, Bangkok, Beirut, Geneva, Nairobi, New York, Santiago, and Vienna.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"911\" data-end=\"914\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"916\" data-end=\"938\">About the Programme<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"940\" data-end=\"1296\">The Young Professionals Programme (YPP) is the UN\u2019s flagship talent recruitment initiative for highly capable young professionals from participating Member States. Choosing \u201cother\u201d will result in automatic disqualification.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"3127\" data-end=\"3130\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"3132\" data-end=\"3150\">Work Experience<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3152\" data-end=\"3320\">No work experience is required. However, when more than 90 applicants from the same country apply, relevant experience may be used as an additional screening criterion.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"3322\" data-end=\"3325\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"3327\" data-end=\"3351\">Language Requirements<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3353\" data-end=\"3485\">Applicants must be fluent in <strong data-start=\"3382\" data-end=\"3403\">English or French<\/strong>.
