data-start=\"1767\" data-end=\"1942\">\n<li data-start=\"1767\" data-end=\"1877\">\n<p data-start=\"1769\" data-end=\"1877\">Teach <strong data-start=\"1775\" data-end=\"1812\">one undergraduate elective course<\/strong> (one semester long), subject to sufficient student enrollment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1878\" data-end=\"1942\">\n<p data-start=\"1880\" data-end=\"1942\">Hold a <strong data-start=\"1887\" data-end=\"1914\">secondary teaching rank<\/strong> during the teaching term.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1944\" data-end=\"1947\" \/>\n<h2 data-start=\"1949\" data-end=\"1990\">Academic and Community Contributions<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1992\" data-end=\"2057\">In addition to teaching, visiting scholars will be expected to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2059\" data-end=\"2286\">\n<li data-start=\"2059\" data-end=\"2111\">\n<p data-start=\"2061\" data-end=\"2111\"><strong data-start=\"2061\" data-end=\"2082\">Deliver a lecture<\/strong> on their research project.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2112\" data-end=\"2183\">\n<p data-start=\"2114\" data-end=\"2183\"><strong data-start=\"2114\" data-end=\"2137\">Contribute actively<\/strong> to departmental activities and discussions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2184\" data-end=\"2286\">\n<p data-start=\"2186\" data-end=\"2286\">Participate in <strong data-start=\"2201\" data-end=\"2227\">colloquia data-end=\"2318\">Eligibility Criteria<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2320\" data-end=\"2370\">Applicants must meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2372\" data-end=\"2799\">\n<li data-start=\"2372\" data-end=\"2418\">\n<p data-start=\"2374\" data-end=\"2418\">Hold a <strong data-start=\"2381\" data-end=\"2415\">Ph.D. in a relevant discipline<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2419\" data-end=\"2513\">\n<p data-start=\"2421\" data-end=\"2513\">Have at least <strong data-start=\"2435\" data-end=\"2470\">one year of teaching experience<\/strong> in their current position (for faculty).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2514\" data-end=\"2572\">\n<p data-start=\"2516\" data-end=\"2572\">Independent scholars will be considered in rare cases.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li projects, or those in planning or early implementation stages<\/strong>.
