data-start=\"1531\" data-end=\"1674\"><strong data-start=\"1531\" data-end=\"1578\">Advance research and policy recommendations<\/strong> on how technology, particularly artificial intelligence (AI), can improve American democracy.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1675\" data-end=\"1811\">\n<p data-start=\"1677\" data-end=\"1811\"><strong data-start=\"1677\" data-end=\"1710\">Deepen stakeholder engagement<\/strong> to promote democratic and national security policies that protect human rights in the digital era.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1812\" data-end=\"1954\">\n<p data-start=\"1814\" data-end=\"1954\"><strong data-start=\"1814\" data-end=\"1842\">Enhance public awareness<\/strong> of the risks and opportunities presented by technology, including disinformation and manipulated information.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1955\" data-end=\"2113\">\n<p data-start=\"1957\" data-end=\"2113\"><strong data-start=\"1957\" data-end=\"1995\">Strengthen democratic institutions<\/strong> and election infrastructure to ensure resilience and effectiveness in support of a democracy for and by the people.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 data-start=\"2120\" data-end=\"2145\">Eligibility Criteria<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"2147\" data-end=\"2177\">To qualify, applicants must:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2179\" data-end=\"2640\">\n<li data-start=\"2179\" data-end=\"2217\">\n<p data-start=\"2181\" data-end=\"2217\">Be <strong data-start=\"2184\" data-end=\"2214\">based in the United States<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2218\" data-end=\"2477\">\n<p data-start=\"2220\" data-end=\"2477\">Hold a <strong data-start=\"2227\" data-end=\"2299\">bachelor\u2019s degree and at least six years of relevant work experience<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"2301\" data-end=\"2307\">OR<\/strong> a <strong data-start=\"2310\" data-end=\"2329\">graduate degree<\/strong> in a related field (technology, democracy and tech, democracy
