Through this initiative, small and large companies can co-develop market-oriented innovations supported by Vinnova (Sweden) and FINEP\/Embrapii (Brazil) under the Eureka Network Projects framework.<\/p>\n<h2>About the Call<\/h2>\n<p>The call supports collaborative research and development (R&amp;D) projects focusing on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sustainable mining<\/li>\n<li>Bioeconomy<\/li>\n<li>Sustainable cities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Projects should aim to create commercially viable products, processes, or services that contribute to a sustainable future.<\/p>\n<h2>Key Details<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Deadline (Eureka): 30 January 2026<\/li>\n<li>Deadline (Vinnova): 6 February 2026, 14:00 (CET)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Who Can Apply<\/h2>\n<p>Eligible consortia must include at least one company from Sweden and one from Brazil.<br \/>\nParticipation is open to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs)<\/li>\n<li>Large corporations<\/li>\n<li>Universities and research institutes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each project must be company-led, ensuring strong market relevance and potential for commercial application.<\/p>\n<h2>Funding and Support<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Maximum Funding: SEK 5,500,000 (approx. \u20ac500,000) per project<\/li>\n<li>Funding Coverage:\n<ul>\n<li>SMEs: Up to 60% of eligible costs<\/li>\n<li>Large companies: Up to 40%<\/li>\n<li>Universities and research institutes: Up to 100% (non-state aid)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Funding is provided in line with Vinnova\u2019s General Terms and Conditions and the EU\u2019s General Block Exemption Regulation (GBER No 651\/2014, Article 25), covering industrial research and experimental development.<\/p>\n<h2>Application Process<\/h2>\n<p>To apply, applicants must complete two steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Submit an international application through Eureka (29 Sept 2025 \u2013 30 Jan 2026).<\/li>\n<li>Submit a national application to Vinnova (29 Sept 2025 \u2013 6 Feb 2026, by 14:00 CET).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Applications are completed via Vinnova\u2019s eServices Portal and must include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project description<\/li>\n<li>Participant details<\/li>\n<li>Budget information<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants are encouraged to start early, as the process involves detailed analyses and documentation.<\/p>\n<h2>Confidentiality and Transparency<\/h2>\n<p>All applications submitted to Vinnova become public documents.
