This is a unique opportunity for young leaders committed to agrifood systems transformation, global youth governance, sustainability, and policy advocacy. Selected participants will play a strategic leadership role within the WFF Youth Assembly throughout the term.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"625\" data-end=\"664\">What is the WFF Youth Policy Board?<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"666\" data-end=\"1052\">The Youth Policy Board (YPB) is the governing body of the WFF Youth Assembly. It is composed of young change-makers from diverse regions who work together to ensure youth perspectives shape agrifood policies and global decision-making processes. The YPB leads consultations, prepares advocacy outcomes, engages in intergovernmental forums, and drives youth-inclusive policy development.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1054\" data-end=\"1292\">The WFF operates as a global initiative under the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), designed to accelerate the transformation of agrifood systems through youth-led action, innovation, and partnership-building.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1299\" data-end=\"1327\">Role and Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1329\" data-end=\"1376\">YPB members contribute across three core areas:<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1378\" data-end=\"1404\">1. Regional Engagement<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"1405\" data-end=\"1653\">\n<li data-start=\"1405\" data-end=\"1462\">\n<p data-start=\"1407\" data-end=\"1462\">Lead regional dialogues and youth policy consultations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1463\" data-end=\"1542\">\n<p data-start=\"1465\" data-end=\"1542\">Work with FAO regional offices, National Youth Chapters and partner networks.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1543\" data-end=\"1593\">\n<p data-start=\"1545\" data-end=\"1593\">Develop regional youth priorities and compendia.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1594\" data-end=\"1653\">\n<p data-start=\"1596\" data-end=\"1653\">Advocate at international policy events and UN platforms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"1655\" data-end=\"1681\">2. Thematic Leadership<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"1682\" data-end=\"1872\">\n<li data-start=\"1682\" data-end=\"1749\">\n<p data-start=\"1684\" data-end=\"1749\">Conduct thematic consultations on key agrifood governance issues.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1750\" data-end=\"1805\">\n<p data-start=\"1752\" data-end=\"1805\">Develop outcome documents and youth policy positions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1806\" data-end=\"1872\">\n<p data-start=\"1808\" data-end=\"1872\">Collaborate with FAO technical divisions and youth stakeholders.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"1874\" data-end=\"1900\">3. Youth Participation<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"1901\" data-end=\"2074\">\n<li data-start=\"1901\" data-end=\"1963\">\n<p data-start=\"1903\" data-end=\"1963\">Strengthen youth engagement across the WFF Youth Initiative.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1964\" data-end=\"2021\">\n<p data-start=\"1966\" data-end=\"2021\">Support Global Youth Action Plan (GYAP) implementation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li commit 25 hours per month. The structure includes 20 hours for core responsibilities (regional or thematic work) and 5 hours for cross-cutting participation.
