This national initiative empowers students to make meaningful <a href=\"https:\/\/opportunitiesconnect.com\/\">contributions<\/a> in their communities while learning about leadership, service, and food insecurity.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"846\" data-end=\"874\"><strong data-start=\"849\" data-end=\"874\">About the Opportunity<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3 data-start=\"875\" data-end=\"927\"><strong data-start=\"879\" data-end=\"927\">What is the Stop Hunger Classroom Challenge?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"928\" data-end=\"1249\">The Stop Hunger Classroom Challenge encourages classrooms to improve existing school-based hunger efforts\u2014such as food drives, backpack programs, or other hunger projects\u2014and make them more student-led and impactful. Teachers guide the process, but students take the lead in planning, decision-making, and implementation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1251\" data-end=\"1442\">After signing up, classrooms receive a Teacher Resource Guide, a project toolkit, and reminders to help streamline planning and ensure students can fully participate in the challenge.<\/p>\n<h2 data-start=\"1449\" data-end=\"1468\"><strong data-start=\"1452\" data-end=\"1468\">How It Works?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3 data-start=\"1469\" data-end=\"1489\"><strong data-start=\"1473\" data-end=\"1487\">1. Hold One Classroom Conversation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1641\" data-end=\"1783\">Using YSA\u2019s short prompts, students discuss hunger in their communities and explore how to improve an existing hunger project at their school.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"1785\" data-end=\"1818\"><strong data-start=\"1789\" data-end=\"1816\">3.
