While you will primarily focus on one of these areas, expect to gain exposure to a wide range of Embassy activities.<\/p>\n<p>The internships are <strong><b>in-person<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0at <strong><b>the Embassy in Paris<\/b><\/strong>, and remote work is not available. You must be available for <strong><b>the full 6-month<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0duration of the internship.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Key Information<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b><\/b><strong><b>Duration:<\/b><\/strong>6 months, starting in early March 2026<\/li>\n<li><b><\/b><strong><b>Location:<\/b><\/strong>Embassy of Ireland, Paris (in-person attendance required)<\/li>\n<li><b><\/b><strong><b>Deadline:<\/b><\/strong>Monday, 1 December 2025 at 17:30 CET <strong><b>(Paris time)<\/b><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><b>Eligibility Criteria<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following essential criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be enrolled in, or have graduated within the last 12 months from, <strong><b>a university degree <\/b><\/strong>(minimum EQF level 6) in a relevant field, such as Political Science, International Relations, Economics, Law, Humanities, Foreign Policy, Communications, or related disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>Fluentin <strong><b>English (C2 level)<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0and <strong><b>French (C1 level)<\/b><\/strong>, with strong written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Have a good understanding of Ireland-France bilateral relations, as well as EU and international affairs.<\/li>\n<li>Be able to provide a\u201c<strong><b>Convention de stage<\/b><\/strong>\u201d <strong><b>(internship agreement)<\/b><\/strong>from your university or higher education institution.
