Scaling up involves:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Modification and adaptation of pilot projects based on feedback and evaluation.<\/li>\n<li>Securing financial, human, and technological resources for larger implementation.<\/li>\n<li>Building partnerships with key stakeholders to support expansion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Scope of Actions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Projects can cover a wide range of themes, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Greening of industrial processes.<\/li>\n<li>Circularity of products, processes, and services.<\/li>\n<li>Bio-based solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Uptake of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards.<\/li>\n<li>Adoption of new low-carbon and green business models.<\/li>\n<li>Awareness-raising among consumers for sustainable choices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Relevant sectors may include<\/strong>:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Agri-food.<\/li>\n<li>Buildings and construction.<\/li>\n<li>Circular cities.<\/li>\n<li>Critical raw materials.<\/li>\n<li>Plastics and waste management.<\/li>\n<li>Textiles and leather.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><strong>Funding Details<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Total budget: EUR 25,000,000.<\/li>\n<li>Grant size per project: EUR 2,500,000 \u2013 EUR 4,000,000.<\/li>\n<li>EU co-financing: minimum 25% \u2013 maximum 75% of eligible costs.<\/li>\n<li>Project duration: 36\u201348 months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applicants must secure the remaining balance from other sources beyond the EU budget.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><em>Lead applicants may include:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Businesses (especially MSMEs).<\/li>\n<li>Private sector organizations (industrial clusters, chambers of commerce, trade federations, CSR networks).<\/li>\n<li>Consumer and labour organizations.<\/li>\n<li>Research and technology institutions (universities, research centres, technology transfer centres).<\/li>\n<li>NGOs and civil society organizations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Co-applicants:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All of the above categories.<\/li>\n<li>Organizations from EU Member States.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em>Consortium requirement:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least one organization from an eligible Asian country.<\/li>\n<li>At least one organization from the EU or EEA.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Eligible countries in Asia<\/strong>:<\/em> Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Indonesia, India, Lao PDR, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and Vietnam.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Ineligible Actions<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The following are not eligible under this call:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial instruments (loans, bonds, guarantees, equity).<\/li>\n<li>Individual sponsorships for workshops, seminars, or conferences.<\/li>\n<li>Scholarships for studies or training.<\/li>\n<li>Actions violating human rights or causing significant environmental harm.<\/li>\n<li>Projects without a scaling-up component.<\/li>\n<li>Inception phase activities exceeding 4 months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Indicators and Reporting<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Selected projects must report against clear EU and international indicator sets, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/li>\n<li>The Global Europe Results Framework.<\/li>\n<li>DG INTPA Green Economy indicators.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<h3><strong>Timeline<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Deadline for concept notes: <strong>10 December 2025 (12:00 Brussels time).<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Results of concept notes: February 2026 (indicative).<\/li>\n<li>Full applications deadline: April 2026 (indicative).<\/li>\n<li>Evaluation of full applications: May\u2013June 2026.<\/li>\n<li>Notification of successful applicants: July\u2013August 2026.<\/li>\n<li>Contract signature: Q3\u2013Q4 2026.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<p><strong>The SWITCH-Asia Call 2025<\/strong> is a unique opportunity for organizations committed to sustainability to scale up innovative practices and build stronger EU\u2013Asia partnerships.
